Elizabeth Westling is currently in her first term as President of the Celina Rugby Club. Elizabeth has two sons on the Celina Rugby Club High School team and they have each played rugby in north Texas since Spring of 2018.

Previous Board experience includes President of the Athletic Booster Club for Strike and Walker Middle Schools in Little Elm, TX, Secretary for Coppell Youth Soccer Association, and Age Division Commissioner for Coppell Youth Soccer Association.

Elizabeth loves watching children mature and grow through team sports because they build lasting friendships and teach life-long lessons about working with others and leadership. Having the proper support structure of well-qualified and patient coaches and Board members is crucial to building an accepting environment for children to thrive in an organization.

Chris Schappaugh is currently in his first term as Vice Presidnet of the Celina Rugby Club. Chris' son Boaz plays for the Celina Rugby Club High School team and he has played since 2020.

Chris has served as President of his HOA board and works with boards in his professional career as a Large Scale Onsite HOA Manager. Additionally, he has served as a council member for the Town of Little Elm. Chris has ten years of working in youth sports coaching football in the fall (nine as a head coach).
His excitement for this sport has come from watching his son play and grow to love playing. He believes rugby has a place in Texas and deserves to be among the more popular sports in this region as well as in this state.

Danny Callahan is serving his first term as Treasurer with the Celina Rugby Club. Danny is a former men’s rugby player for Celina. He has coached youth sports for over 8 years in various sports. Danny is also father to a high school rugby player who plays for Celina Rugby Club. A little something about Danny, is he was a former University of Texas and North Texas University cheerleader.
My goals and aspirations for Celina Rugby Club are to help the sport of Rugby grow in the North Texas area by having our quality coaches teach players of all ages the skills they need to succeed and to grow to love the game of rugby.
